What Coaching Looks Like

A steady, practical support system for college success
College brings new routines, expectations, and pressures — even for students who did well in high school. Coaching provides structured, consistent support to help students stay organized, manage their time, and approach challenges with confidence. This is not therapy, tutoring, or “fixing.”It’s partnership, planning, and skill-building.
Our role is to help students understand what’s happening, make effective choices, and move forward with clarity — one step at a time.
Coaching sessions are conversational, collaborative, and focused.
Students can expect:
-
A judgment-free space to talk through challenges
-
Clear, realistic planning based on current coursework and priorities
-
Support breaking larger tasks into manageable steps
-
Practical time management & organization strategies that can be used immediately
-
Encouragement and accountability to build momentum and confidence

Each session is tailored to the student’s learning style, routines, and goals.
Research-Based Strategies
We draw from executive function research, cognitive-behavioral approaches, habit formation science, and motivation theory. Strategies are practical and realistic — not one-size-fits-all.
Our Approach
Inclusive and Student-Centered
We work with all learning profiles. Whether a student is navigating a diagnosed learning difference or simply adjusting to new expectations, coaching adapts to their strengths and needs.
Skilled and Experienced
Our coaches bring years of work with diverse learners — including students with ADHD, anxiety, autism, learning disabilities, and students without any diagnoses who simply benefit from structure.

Inclusive & Neurodiversity Empowering Coaching Support
Learning the new (often 'hidden') systems of college can be tricky and overwhelming. New college students 'don't know what they don't know' so a little extra support can be just what your new college student needs. Learn more about the variety of students we support:

New College Students with Learning Disabilities
We provide individualized 1:1 support for college students with learning disabilities as they begin their freshman year. Starting as early as two weeks before the semester begins, students work with a professional who helps them prepare for the academic demands and executive functioning challenges they may experience in college. Through conversations about self-awareness, learning preferences, and the accommodation process, students learn how to identify and access the academic and disability support services available on their campus. This coaching empowers students to understand their needs, advocate for themselves, and use the tools that can help them succeed.
